The PLS2000 (Patient Load Simulator) is a unique test
instrument, designed to verify stimulator output, both
audibly and in conjunction with an oscilloscope.
Through the audio output, you can detect bad channels,
intermittent patient leads and dirty potentiometers.
It has the nominal load of 1000 ohms for use with most
stimulators and can handle up to 100ma.
Quickly test all of your clinical stimulators to
identify bad leads or a bad output, with or without the use of an
oscilloscope for real verification.
With a handy audio on/off switch, you can hear the warble of the
interferential signal, the premod signal, The stable High volt and the
russian output. Low volt stimlators can also be verified audibly.
With the included banana jacks with rings, you can attach your
scope to the output channels and see the waveforms for additional
testing or burn-in procedure. You can also turn off the audio signal
while testing with your scope.
Once you use the device a few times, you’ll be able quickly identify
the audio signals and speed up your testing procedures.
Simply plug in your .080 pin leads into the labeled channel sockets.
Turn on the audio switch and increase the intensity.
